These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Akili Arena ("we", "us", "our").

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating a Host account, starting free access, or purchasing a paid plan on Akili Arena, you agree to these Terms. These Terms form a legal agreement between you and Akili Arena. Participants who join quizzes via a link or room code do not need an account and are subject to these Terms only to the extent applicable to their use of the Services.

Akili Arena may offer free access, one-time purchases, and recurring paid plans. Current pricing, participant limits, usage allowances, fair-use guidelines, and plan details are shown on our website, at checkout, or in the product.

• Free access: Free access may include limited quiz sessions, participant caps, or other feature restrictions as shown on our website or in the product.
• Recurring paid plans: Recurring paid plans may include monthly access, participant caps, and usage allowances as shown at purchase. Where a recurring paid plan is presented as unlimited, that access remains subject to fair use. We may limit or suspend access for the reasons described in Section 7.
• One-time paid plans: One-time paid plans, such as Event Pass, may include access for a single quiz session or event-specific use, as shown at purchase.
• Participant and feature limits: The limits shown at purchase and in the product apply to the plan you select.
• Pricing changes: We may change plan pricing, limits, or included features in the future. Any changes apply to future purchases only.

We may change, limit, or discontinue free access or plan offerings prospectively unless otherwise required by law. If you already paid for a recurring billing period or one-time purchase, we will honor that access through the applicable period unless Section 7 applies.

4. Subscriptions and Cancellation

Recurring paid plans renew on the billing cadence shown at purchase unless you cancel using a method we make available in the product or by contacting support.

If you cancel a recurring paid plan, your paid access remains active until the end of your current billing period unless otherwise stated at purchase. We may still suspend or limit access as described in Section 7.

5. Refund Policy

If a refund rule is shown at checkout, on the relevant plan page, or in a purchase confirmation, that rule applies. Otherwise, refund eligibility depends on the plan purchased, whether it has been used, and applicable law.

Unless otherwise stated at purchase, we do not guarantee refunds for used one-time purchases or partially used subscription periods.

Refunds are processed through LemonSqueezy (our Merchant of Record). To request a refund, contact [email protected] with the email used at checkout and your order details.

6. Prohibited Content

You are solely responsible for the content of your quizzes. You may not use Akili Arena for:

• Illegal activities or promotion of such activities.
• Harassment, hate speech, or defamatory content.
• Infringing on the intellectual property rights of others.
• Attempting to disrupt or abuse the service (for example, automated traffic, probing, or bypassing limits).

7. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Services if we reasonably believe there is fraud, abuse, automation, misuse of the platform, security risks, or violations of these Terms. Where possible, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.

8. Limitation of Liability

Akili Arena is provided on an "as-is" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages, including technical failures, internet outages at your venue, loss of connectivity, or loss of data during live quiz sessions.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated version on this page and update the "Last updated" date.
